I found a graphic on Pinterest and decided to make my own spin on it since I like the phrase used
turn your wounds into wisdom
It means a lot to a photographer. Especially one who shoots weddings. I was terrified at my first wedding. I would be lying if I said that I’m cool as a cucumber at weddings now, because I’m not! I’m a nervous wreck. I pace, almost constantly, for two reasons. 1) If I stop, my feet hurt like the devil. 2) I’m a people watcher. I’m one of those photographers that would rather catch ‘those moments’ than be taking detail pictures of your wedding cake (although I will do that, too). I love receptions with dancing. And it doesn’t hurt to have an open bar ; ) Anyways, I love watching people interacting. What if I miss something huge? What if I’m in the wrong place at the wrong time? I’ve been very fortunate to have been able to work with the beautiful, easy-going couples that I have worked with. I’ve had a few slip-ups in the beginning, but definitely learned from them.
